About The Role

We are currently advertising for two Teaching Assistants at Ark Ayrton Primary Academy for September 2025. As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils, parents, and teachers to establish a supportive learning environment where children make good academic progress. You will play a key role in our mission to provide every student, regardless of their background, with a great education and real life choices.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Have experience of establishing successful learning relationships with a variety of pupils
  • Have a helpful, positive, calm, and caring nature
  • Have genuine passion and belief in the potential of every pupil
  • Understand and implement strategies to help pupils improve their learning and enjoyment
  • Assist in establishing routines and patterns for good behaviour management
  • Be committed to Ark Ayrton’s ethos of high expectations
