Job summary

Ripple Education is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants for Berwick-Upon-Tweed and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible supply work or longer-term placements to suit your availability and experience.

You will support learning across primary settings, building positive relationships with pupils and staff while following safeguarding procedures. Weekly pay and holiday pay, plus access to training and professional development, are provided.

Qualifications

• Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent required.
• Experience in a primary school or educational setting.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Understanding of safeguarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils individually, in small groups or within the classroom.
• Work alongside teachers to support learning and development.
• Support pupils with SEND or additional needs.
• Help create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and Ripple Education guidelines.
