Are you an innovative Teaching Assistant committed to improving the lives of pupils and young people?
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant for our New Options School - Riseley Green School in Riseley, Berkshire. The school will have a capacity for 60 pupils aged 4-16 years old and is due to open in May 2025.
Our New Options School will cater for pupils who have ASC and Complex Needs.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will connect directly with the pupils and young people we care for, helping to ensure they get the best from their education. Each individual has much potential, and they will rely on you to guide their learning journeys.
You will help prepare learning materials and run classroom activities, gaining hands-on experience and supervision. You will also take responsibility for their emotional and physical needs, supporting their development and engagement with the world.
Supporting pupils with complex SEMH needs is rewarding work, and you will benefit from the support of our experienced teams. As you help our pupils achieve progress, you will enjoy a direct, positive impact on their lives.
Who we are looking for
You should be adaptable and ready to work in various classroom roles, both indoors and outdoors, according to individual needs. Taking a responsive and caring approach, you may be running activities, leading outdoor experiences, or supervising pupils exploring outside.
