Job summary

TeacherActive Limited in Aberystwyth is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a long-term, immediate-start role in a primary school setting. You will support pupils from Nursery through KS2, aid classroom activities, and help deliver targeted interventions to boost learning.

We are seeking patient, adaptable individuals with good communication and a solid understanding of the Curriculum for Wales. This role requires on-site presence in Aberystwyth and ongoing collaboration with teaching staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher with daily activities and learning tasks.
• Deliver small group interventions and targeted support to pupils.
• Support pupils across Nursery, Reception, KS1 and KS2 to reach their learning goals.

TeacherActive are looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will be working with pupils across Nursery, Reception, Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2 , supporting the class teacher with daily activities, delivering small group interventions and providing additional support to pupils who may require extra guidance with their learning and development.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

Experience working with children in a primary school setting
