TeacherActive Limited is seeking a Teaching Assistant for a village primary school in Llanelli, Wales. This long-term position focuses on supporting children through small group interventions, helping develop literacy, numeracy and wider learning skills alongside the class teacher.

The successful candidate will have experience in a primary school setting, strong communication skills and a patient, adaptable approach to supporting children's learning.

The school provides a supportive and nurturing learning environment, with a focus on helping children develop their confidence, independence and academic abilities.

The school is looking to take on an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will be responsible for supporting children through small group interventions, helping pupils develop their literacy, numeracy and wider learning skills while working closely with the class teacher to support individual learning needs.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

Experience working with children in a primary school setting

Experience supporting small group interventions

A good understanding of the primary curriculum

Strong communication and behaviour management skills

A patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to supporting children's learning
