Hertford St Andrew is a small school committed to inclusion and meeting the needs of all learners. We are looking for a Teaching and Learning Assistant to work in our Y2 class and support children with SEND.

You will be calm, reliable and ready to learn with us, contributing to a supportive environment, training, and development. Hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, term time only, with 30 minutes active lunchtime support. This is a fixed term post until October 2027.

You will be calm and reliable and ready to learn with us.

You might have experience of working in a school in various roles.

You might not have worked in a school before, but have some experience of SEND, either professional or lived.

You’ll be creative and enthusiastic and want to help children.

You’ll know when to be gentle and when to be energetic.

You’ll want to be part of a team.
