Job summary

Olive Hill Primary Academy is recruiting for Grade 5 EYFS support. The role involves helping deliver engaging early years activities and monitoring progress in a nurturing school environment.

The position is 32.5 hours per week across 39 weeks per annum, with salary ranges of £20,680–£22,042 for up to 5 years’ service or £21,147–£22,541 plus 5 years’ service. Closing date: 2 November 2026, with shortlisting by 6 November 2026.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of engaging EYFS learning activities.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to promote learning and development.
• Assist in observing, assessing, and recording children's progress.
• Encourage children's social, emotional, and personal development.
• Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Support children with varying needs, including those with SEND where appropriate.
• Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and displays.
• Promote positive behaviour and uphold school policies and procedures.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and carers.
