Job Title: Teaching and Learning Assistant

Job Type: Temporary

Key responsibilities:

• Providing person-centred, day-to-day support, delivering 1:1, paired, and small group teaching, and pupil sessions.
• Supervise and support pupils in engaging with community-based learning and educational visits.
• Use creativity to support lesson plans by preparing materials and resources.
• Help pupils develop life skills, meet goals, and aspirations through communication, independence, and participation.

Skills & experience:

• Experience in a similar setting and role.
• Experience in educational environments providing academic or personal care support.
• Willingness and ability to provide personal care support (e.g., feeding, toileting, changing) to individuals with high needs.
• Availability for immediate interview.
• Right to Work & Enhanced DBS within the last 3 months or on the update service.
