Job Details

• Job Title: Teaching and Learning Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support, including 1:1, paired, and small group teaching sessions.
• Supervise and support pupils during community-based learning and educational visits.
• Assist in lesson planning by preparing materials and resources creatively.
• Help pupils develop life skills, achieve goals, and participate actively through communication, independence, and engagement.

Skills & Experience

• Experience working in similar educational settings.
• Experience providing academic or personal care support within an educational environment.
• Willingness and ability to provide personal care support (e.g., feeding, toileting, changing) for individuals with high needs.
• Availability for immediate interview.
• Right to Work and a recent Enhanced DBS (within last 3 months) or on the update service.
