We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join us in supporting one of our BS16 Bristol schools, going out on a mix of 1:1 support and general teaching assistant duties. This long term assignment will look to bring you consistent work, all whilst allowing you to build a real connection with your class. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location: Bristol (BS16)

Position: Teaching Assistant

Type of work: Carry out professional duties, responsible for group support/1:1 support, ensure the safety and welfare of pupils, small group work, reading, forest school opportunities

Start Date: 06/01/2025

Rate of pay : £95 – £120

Hours: 08:30 – 16:00

EXPERIENCE

*Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (not essential)

*Experience of working in Primary Schools

*Experience of inclusive classroom practice

*An understanding/awareness of supporting SEND requirements

*Previous experience of supporting learning using a range of strategies, both with groups and on a 1:1 basis

*Drives (not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold right to work in the UK

Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
