Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a successful secondary school in the Berwick area to appoint a dedicated General Teacher on a long-term basis from September.

You will deliver engaging lessons to KS3 and KS4, uphold high teaching standards, manage behaviour effectively, and support students to achieve strong academic outcomes in a supportive environment.

The role offers competitive daily rates (£180-£220) paid via PAYE with access to CPD and ongoing support from a dedicated consultant team.

Qualifications

• QTS is required to teach in a UK secondary school.
• Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms effectively.
• Ability to engage and motivate secondary students (KS3/KS4).

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated General Teacher on a long-term basis from September. The successful General Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, managing behaviour effectively, and supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to achieve strong academic outcomes.

The successful General Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience teaching within a UK secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• A proven ability to engage and motivate students
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning
