This is an opportunity to join a school that is continuing to develop and grow, with the chance to build your experience, learn from experienced colleagues and play a part in the school's continued development.

Are you an ECT looking for the right environment to develop your teaching career, or an experienced teacher considering a change from mainstream education?

The Role

You will teach and support young people with a range of additional needs, adapting lessons and activities to suit individual abilities and learning goals.

  • Planning and delivering engaging, personalised lessons
  • Supporting pupils with SEND, autism, learning difficulties and additional needs
  • Differentiating learning to meet individual needs
  • Creating a calm, positive and structured classroom environment
  • Monitoring progress and contributing to individual learning plans
  • Working closely with Teaching Assistants and other members of the team

  • Mainstream teachers looking to move into SEND and specialist education
  • Experienced SEND teachers looking for a new challenge
  • Teachers who enjoy working with smaller groups and a more personalised approach
  • Teachers who are enthusiastic, patient and keen to continue learning

Previous specialist or SEND experience would be beneficial but is not essential. What's most important is a genuine interest in supporting young people and a willingness to adapt your teaching to meet their needs.
