Accountable to: Subject Leader of Science

Contract Type: Full Time – Permanent

Start Date: September 2025, October 2025 or January 2026

Salary: M1 to UPS3 – £32,916 to £51,047 (Based on a 4% national pay increase from 1st September 2025)

We are seeking a talented and inspirational Teacher of Science to join our excellent Science Department from 1st January 2026, or sooner. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school with some of the strongest student outcomes in Somerset – both in terms of academic achievement and progression onto meaningful post-16 education and training. In September 2025, our outcomes placed Preston among the top three schools in Somerset for Attainment 8, with particularly strong results in Science.
