About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Science to join our outstanding science department on a full-time and permanent contract. Using your motivational skills and subject knowledge you will be able to inspire students to become interested in and successful at science.You will be aligned to our high expectations for outstanding behaviour and excellent student progress and will work hard to push students to reach their potential.

A suitable candidate will be:

• Able to plan and deliver engaging and impactful science lessons
• Confident with KS3 and KS4 subject knowledge for biology, chemistry and physics
• Friendly, collaborative and looking to work as part of a team with a culture of sharing and support
• Confident in using a behavioural policy consistently and assertively
• Keen to develop and take on training opportunities
• Up to date on strategies for supporting all students including and EAL, PP, SEND
