Shiplake College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative individual with a passion for teaching Media Studies from September 2025 for up to 10 hours per week.
This is a superb opportunity for someone with a degree in media or a closely related subject to join our dynamic and innovative school. The role would suit an enthusiastic, creative teacher committed to the highest standards of teaching and learning. Applications are welcome from both ECTs and more experienced teachers who can inspire and motivate pupils in Years 9-13 studying Media Studies.
Shiplake College is an independent boarding and day school for around 540 pupils aged 11 to 18. Since 1998, we have been a co-educational Sixth Form, and from September 2023, girls joined in Year 7, as we move towards being fully co-educational. Located on 63 acres of beautiful countryside near Henley-on-Thames, we offer an outstanding education with small class sizes, excellent facilities, and dedicated staff. All teachers are expected to contribute to our broad co-curricular programme.
