Job description

Avon Valley Academy is looking for a highly skilled Teacher of Maths, to join its friendly and dedicated Mathematics Department, with effect from September 2025. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT, who is passionate about helping every student to succeed. Full or part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate.

Working Hours: Full time or Part time

We are a thriving, co-educational school, educating young people between the ages of 11 and 16. Located in Durrington, Wiltshire, our school has a strong reputation for being at the heart of the community and has built strong relationships with the two local army bases at Larkhill and Bulford. The successful candidate will be able to teach across the full age and ability range (Key Stage 3 – Key Stage 4) and will be a team player happy to collaborate and share ideas with other teachers within the Mathematics Department. QTS status is essential for the role.
