About The Role

Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of mathematicians and making complex concepts accessible and engaging for our students?

The Portsmouth Academy is seeking to appoint a dynamic and dedicated Teacher of Maths to join our team of committed professionals teaching our students from Years 7-11.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire students to achieve their full potential in mathematics and develop critical thinking skills.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Plan, implement, and deliver a broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum for KS3 & KS4 students
  • Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students
  • Facilitate and encourage a learning experience that enables students to reach their potential
  • Contribute to raising standards of student progress and attainment
  • Integrate the Thinking Schools ethos into all aspects of school life to develop students as thinkers, enabling their success and personal growth
