Position Overview

GSL Education is seeking a qualified MFL Teacher to work as a Teacher of French at a Secondary School in Withernsea, starting September 2025. The role can be tailored for an experienced teacher looking to expand their expertise or an ECT or recent graduate seeking their first teaching position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective French lessons to students.
• Develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in French.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs, including those with special educational needs.
• Contribute to departmental planning, enrichment activities, and whole-school initiatives.

Requirements

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Be eager to work with a motivated team.
• Ability to teach French at secondary level; proficiency in French is essential.
• Excellent proficiency in French, including speaking, reading, and writing.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or learning difficulties, or willingness to undergo training.
• Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
