MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
As Teacher of English, your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering a broad and engaging English curriculum across KS3-KS5

• Supporting student progress and attainment through high-quality teaching

• Contributing to curriculum planning, resource development, and departmental improvement

• Playing an active role in pastoral support as a form tutor

• Communicating effectively with students, parents, and wider stakeholders

• Participating in quality assurance and staff development programmes

WHAT OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant degree

• Have experience teaching English at secondary level (teaching practice accepted)

• Demonstrate strong understanding of curriculum planning and assessment at KS3-KS4

• Be a confident classroom practitioner with excellent communication and ICT skills

• Be committed to raising student aspirations and achievement

• Work well as part of a team and contribute to a positive school culture

• Be able to plan and deliver inclusive, motivating, and effective lessons
