About this Role

Northallerton School & Sixth Form College is seeking to appoint a Teacher of English. This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful Trust and School.

Job Details
  1. Hours of Work: 1.0FTE
  2. Position Type: Permanent
  3. Line Manager: Head of English
  4. Travel Required: No

The salary depends on current qualifications and experience. Please see the attached job description for more information.

A TLR 2 may be available for an outstanding candidate, which can be discussed further at interview.

About the Department

We are seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic, and energetic Teacher of English to join our dynamic and supportive English faculty. The department has a strong ethos of camaraderie and support, working together to ensure the best experience for our students. We have a strong track record of results and promote enrichment and engagement to develop a love of English.

About the Role

You will teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that foster a love of literature, language, and learning. The ability to teach Key Stage 5 is an advantage but not essential.
