Responsibilities

Teach across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 as part of a well‑resourced department, delivering engaging lessons that progress students' knowledge, skills and confidence in English Language and Literature.

Qualifications

• An awareness of Rosenshine’s principles of instruction
• An understanding of key substantive and disciplinary concepts in English Language and English Literature
• Knowledge of instructional approaches such as Tom Sherrington’s ‘Walkthru’ series or Doug Lemov’s ‘Teach Like a Champion’ series
