Queen Elizabeth’s School in Wimborne is seeking a Teacher of Science (Physics or Chemistry) to join our dynamic team from September 2025. The role offers the chance to teach across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 in a thriving department.

Qualifications

• An awareness of Rosenshine’s principles of instruction.
• An understanding of key substantive and disciplinary concepts in science.
• Awareness of concepts from Walkthru or Teach Like a Champion.

Responsabilités

• Teach science across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, with Physics or Chemistry focus.
• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in a well-resourced department.
• Contribute to assessment strategies, workload wellbeing and CPD.

Actual Salary £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (M1 to UP3).

Qualifications

• An awareness of Rosenshine’s principles of instruction
• An understanding of key substantive and disciplinary concepts in science
• An awareness of some of the concepts explored in Tom Sherrington’s ‘Walkthru’ series or Doug Lemov’s ‘Teach Like a Champion’ series.
