We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated English Teacher to join our outstanding English Department.

The Derby High School is the highest performing school in Bury, Greater Manchester and has sustained this position for a number of years. In 2024, 80% of Year 11 students gained Grade 4+ in English with 69% at Grade 5+. Progress was +0.53. We are extremely proud of these results and delighted that our students are leaving us with the skills in English to support further studies and future employment.

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to join our successful English Department. The Derby High School is an over-subscribed 11-16 Co-Educational School situated in the heart of Bury, Greater Manchester. Year on year our students make exceptional progress and we are currently the highest performing school in Bury for Progress 8 (most recent validated Progress 8 measure stands at +0.35).
