It is also within driving distance of several Market towns and the larger towns of Boston, Grimsby and the city of Lincoln. The academy is currently attracting students from a wide catchment area from Skegness, the surrounding area and as far as Boston, Alford and Louth.

The proportion of students who are disadvantaged (49%) and the proportion of students with SEND (28%) is above the national average.
