Job summary

Thomasson Memorial School is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Deaf Children (Primary) to join our all-through deaf education environment. The role offers permanent employment with flexible full/part-time options and starts January 2027.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified teachers of the deaf or qualified teachers with a passion for education and inclusion and aspirations to undertake the mandatory qualification training (which will be funded by the school).
• No prior experience in deaf education is required just a willingness to learn, empathy, and a desire to grow. We’ll provide comprehensive training, including sign language.
• Be able to lead a subject
• A commitment to work towards British Sign Language Level 3 and above is essential.
