Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Teacher of Computer Science for daily supply across Liverpool. Start immediate with flexible daily work patterns in a variety of secondary schools.

You will deliver KS3/KS4 CS lessons, follow prepared plans and contribute to a supportive, inclusive learning environment. Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent) and experience in Computer Science at secondary level are expected, with flexibility and professionalism throughout daily placements.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Computer Science or Computing at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge including programming concepts.
• Ability to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.
• Flexible, reliable and professional approach to daily supply work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Computer Science lessons to KS3 and KS4.
• Teach topics including programming, algorithms, computational thinking, computer systems and data representation.
• Support pupils in developing coding skills, logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Follow existing lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning.
• Maintain positive classroom behaviour and create an inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs and abilities of different pupils.
• Encourage pupils to develop digital literacy, creativity and confidence in using technology.
• Support pupils in applying computational concepts to practical tasks and real-world scenarios.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to support learning and maintain high educational standards.

Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of Computer Science looking for flexible daily supply work across Liverpool? Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting qualified Computer Science teachers to support secondary schools across the Liverpool area, with immediate starts available.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain experience in a range of school settings, maintain a flexible working pattern or explore new teaching opportunities.

The Role - Teacher of Computer Science
