Sir Thomas Boughey Academy in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Teacher of Business Studies, IT and/or Computer Science to join our ambitious team. This is a full-time role on the main pay scale (UPS/TMS) suitable for ECTs, with start January 2027 or sooner where possible.

The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Business Studies, IT and / or Computer Science to join our school. The successful candidate will be passionate in making a difference for our children. We are looking to recruit a colleague with both the commitment and relevant skills to embody our culture, enthuse students, and help to raise standards throughout the school. The successful candidate will join the school at an exciting time. Having secured the Expected Standard across Attendance and Behaviour, Curriculum and Teaching, Inclusion, Leadership and Governance, and Personal Development and Wellbeing by Ofsted in June 2026, we are eager to continue on our school improvement journey - and we look forward to having you on this journey.
