Part-time, Fixed-term Position

Duration: from 14/07/2025 to 09/12/2025 (covering staff with additional responsibilities)

Position: Secondary (Years 7–15) / Wharekura, Certificated Teacher - The Arts

Waimairi-iri Burnside High School invites applications for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher dedicated to student engagement and achievement. A contribution to the school's co-curricular activities is essential.

We support our staff with comprehensive induction, staff wellbeing programs, and leadership pathways.

This role is for an assistant teacher of art, starting at the beginning of Term 3 (Monday 14 July 2025) and concluding at the end of Term 4 (Tuesday 9 December 2025). It may be combined with a position in food and textiles currently advertised.

You will be part of a high-performing, well-resourced Creative Arts Faculty where your expertise and passion are valued.
