Job Details

• Location: Heath Farm School, Ashford TN27 0AX
• Salary: Up to £45,000.00 depending on experience (not pro rata)
• Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

About The Role

The Art and DT Teacher will deliver inclusive, responsive, and innovative teaching and learning within the curriculum areas of Art and DT. The role involves producing outstanding/good teaching to ensure all learners succeed, adhering to current school policies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure the learning and achievement of all students, promoting equality of opportunity.
2. Maintain curriculum coverage, continuity, and progression.
3. Develop students’ literacy, numeracy, and IT skills through teaching.
4. Plan and prepare long-term and medium-term lessons.
5. Create a purposeful learning environment.
6. Teach according to individual educational needs, including setting and marking work.
