Job summary

Mrs Ethelston's CofE Primary Academy in Lyme Regis is seeking an exceptional teacher for maternity cover. The role starts as 0.9 FTE until 31 August 2027 and reduces to 0.5 FTE from 1 September 2027 until 31 December 2027, with opportunities for collaboration across the Trust.

The ideal candidate will be committed to achieving high outcomes for all pupils, inspire students, and bring strong curriculum knowledge to create engaging, child-centred learning experiences within a supportive Trust

Job description

This position provides maternity leave cover for two members of staff. There will be a reduction in hours from September 2027 when the first member of staff returns:

1. 0.9 FTE until 31 August 2027
2. 0.5 FTE from 1 September 2027 until 31 December 2027
