Job Title: Teacher - GCSE Maths - 14+ Academies

Salary:

Commencing at £30,527 with progression to £34,349 per annum

About the Role

What You Will Do

1. Plan, prepare, and develop schemes of work, lesson plans, teaching and learning resources, and assessment plans.
2. Update, reflect, and maintain the 14+ Academies tracking systems to recognize the need for interventions and implement them.
3. Deliver engaging sessions across the curriculum using diverse teaching methods for identified modules.
4. Work within the 14+ Academies ethos and culture, utilizing relevant tools such as effort descriptors and APLs (Academy Progress Levels).
5. Set targets with individual learners to support their academic or developmental progress, including during Personal Progress Days and in parent/carer reports.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

1. Experience and knowledge of supporting young people academically and developmentally, particularly aged 14-16.
2. Recent teaching experience in relevant subject areas.
3. Experience in positively managing learner progress within an educational setting for ages 14-16.
4. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
