Job summary

Education Impact Academy Trust is seeking a Teacher for The Hive College, Erdington, Birmingham, to join a dedicated team in a Specialist Further Education College for learners with SEND. The role is permanent, 32.5 hours per week, with a salary in the MPS range and entry in Autumn 2026/Spring 2027.

Education Impact Academy Trust is a MAT incorporating The Hive College, Wilson Stuart School, Queensbury School and Mayfield School. The Hive College is based in Erdington, Birmingham and is a Specialist Further Education College for learners aged 19-25 years with Special Educational Needs and disabilities. In November 2023 we were graded Outstanding in every single aspect of an Ofsted Inspection.

As part of our on-going development of a highly successful specialist college, we have a Teaching Assistant vacancy to join our team of professional and dedicated people.

We offer three individualised study programmes for students with PMLD, SLD, MLD and ASD. Our study programmes focus on preparation for adulthood, which include:

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
