Job summary

Astro Education seeks qualified teachers for supply roles across Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle and Staffordshire, covering Nursery and Primary settings. The positions include day-to-day, short-term, long-term and temp-to-perm arrangements, with a start date immediate.

You will deliver engaging lessons, support pupils including those with SEN, SEMH and EAL, and work with school staff. A DBS is preferred; flexibility and a positive attitude are essential for success in temporary and permanent

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
  • Experience in Nursery and Primary Schools
  • Strong commitment to pupil progress, wellbeing and inclusion
  • Adaptability, resilience, and a positive attitude
  • A valid DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Responsibilities

Teacher / Supply Teacher – Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle and Staffordshire (Nursery and Primary)

Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle and Staffordshire
Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible
Contract: Day-to-Day, Short Term, Long Term, Temp-to-Perm (via Astro Education)
Hours: Full Time / Part Time – Term Time Only
Salary: £140+ per day (dependent on experience)

The Role – Teacher / Supply Teacher
