Astro Education is seeking motivated Primary Teachers to support schools in Congleton and surrounding Cheshire with day-to-day supply coverage and longer-term placements. Roles may cover EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with flexible full-time or part-time hours.

Qualificações

About the Opportunity

Astro Education is currently recruiting Primary Teachers to support schools in Congleton and the surrounding Cheshire area.We are working closely with a number of primary schools looking for reliable, enthusiastic and dedicated teachers to provide both day-to-day supply cover and long-term teaching roles.Supply teaching is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in different schools, maintain flexibility, and achieve a better work-life balance, while still making a meaningful impact in the classroom.We welcome applications from experienced teachers, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), and teachers returning to the profession who are looking for flexible opportunities within supportive school environments.Opportunities may be available across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, depending on your experience and preferences.

Locations We Cover

Astro Education works with a wide network of primary schools across Cheshire East and surrounding areas, including:Congleton, Macclesfield, Holmes Chapel, Sandbach, Alsager, Crewe, Nantwich, Winsford, Middlewich and Northwich.

If you are based in any of these areas and are looking for Primary Teacher or Supply Teacher work, we would love to hear from you.Many of the schools we work with are within 20–30 minutes of Congleton, making them easily accessible for teachers living in Macclesfield, Holmes Chapel, Sandbach, Alsager, Crewe and surrounding towns.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
• Follow school lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
• Support pupils with a variety of learning needs and abilities
• Work collaboratively with school staff and follow safeguarding procedures

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• A passion for supporting children's learning and development
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
