Job summary

Thames Valley Police's Technical Development Unit (TDU) within SEROCU seeks a Technical Specialist to develop and deploy technical capabilities supporting serious and organised crime investigations across the South East.

You will provide tactical and technical advice, travel for business across the South East and UK, and work under DV vetting, with a British national and 10 years UK residency.

Qualifications

• DV vetting is required and maintained throughout employment.
• Candidate must be a British National and have resided in the UK for the past ten years.
• A full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialised tactical and technical advice, deploy technical solutions, and analyse technical data to support operational objectives.
• Develop and deploy technical capabilities in support of investigations across the South East region.
• Flexible working arrangements are encouraged where possible to meet operational demand.
