Job summary

London North West Healthcare Nhs Trust seeks an experienced Band 6 nurse with TB/infectious diseases expertise to join our hospital team. You will bring leadership and staff management experience, plus an ability to work with vulnerable adults and children, including homelessness, substance misuse, mental health and immigration issues.

You must hold current UK NMC registration and be willing to pursue independent prescribing if needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold current UK NMC registration.
• Evidence of completing specialist courses up to Master's degree or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• Independent nurse prescribing or willing to work towards within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Extensive post registration experience at Band 6 in TB/Infectious diseases.
• Leadership and staff management experience at Band 6.
• Experience working with vulnerable adults and children including those experiencing homelessness, substance misuse, mental health and immigration problems.
