DJH in Bury is offering a Tax Trainee apprenticeship within our Early Careers team. You’ll learn in a busy tax department, assisting with personal tax computations, P11D forms, client correspondence, and accounts preparation for sole traders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong academic record with GCSEs including Maths and English at high grades.
• Interest in accountancy with appetite to learn tax concepts.
• Motivated, proactive learner in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal tax computations and data entry.
• Support preparation and submission of P11D forms and compliance tasks.
• Manage client and HMRC correspondence with timely communication.
• Maintain records and track deadlines for tax and accounts work.
• Assist with accounts preparation for sole traders and CIS/PAYE matters.
