Managed Services Tax Technical - Senior Manager

A key focus for KPMG’s GCT team is to help multinational groups and financial services clients manage their global tax compliance, reporting, and statutory accounting obligations through outsourcing, co-sourcing, transformation, and technology. The team is a critical enabler for all tax activities within GCT, providing expertise in complex tax audits and supporting tax reporting, compliance, governance, and advisory work for large clients across various sectors.

We seek talented Senior Managers with experience in:

• Deep corporate tax compliance expertise
• Engagement leadership
• Ad hoc tax advisory experience
• Tax reporting experience (preferred)

The role involves working with clients of various sizes and sectors, including mid-market to large FTSE listed groups, public sector, real estate, and financial services.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain lasting client relationships, expanding your network and experience
• Manage corporate tax compliance engagements and outsourcing contracts
• Provide solutions to moderate complexity problems and advise clients on new legislation
• Respond to ad hoc technical client requests
• Drive efficiency in compliance processes, controls, and technology use
• Support sales activities and proposals
• Mentor and develop junior staff
• Assist with group/statutory tax reporting, including global outsourcing projects under US GAAP and IFRS
• Provide technical input for audits of multinational groups

Knowledge and Experience:

• Extensive knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and compliance for large, complex groups
• Project management skills, especially in large or global engagements
• Strong leadership, accountability, and positive attitude under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
