Managed Services Tax Technical - Senior Manager

A key focus for KPMG’s GCT team is to help multinational groups and financial services clients manage their global tax compliance, reporting, and statutory accounting obligations through outsourcing, co-sourcing, transformation, and technology. The Tax Technical team enables all tax activities within GCT, providing expertise for complex tax audits. We prioritize audit quality and maintain a dedicated team of tax specialists. We also handle tax reporting, compliance, governance, and advisory work for both domestic and global clients.

We seek talented Senior Managers with experience in:

• Deep corporate tax compliance
• Engagement leadership
• Ad hoc tax advisory
• Tax reporting (preferred)
• Serving diverse clients across sectors like finance, real estate, public sector, and more

Role & Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain client relationships, expanding your network
• Manage corporate tax compliance projects and outsourcing contracts
• Provide solutions for moderate complexity issues; advise on new legislation
• Respond to client requests for technical advice
• Improve compliance efficiency, controls, and leverage technology
• Support sales activities and proposals
• Mentor junior staff
• Assist with group/statutory tax reporting, including global contracts under US GAAP and IFRS
• Contribute to tax audits for listed and non-listed groups

Knowledge and Experience:

• Extensive UK corporate tax legislation knowledge
• Project management experience, especially on large/global engagements
• Leadership, accountability, and positive attitude under pressure
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to provide ongoing coaching and feedback
• Analytical skills to evaluate complex issues

• BEPs: Knowledge of Pillar 2 impacts and transformation
• Managed Services: Experience in delivering large tax projects, reporting, transfer pricing, and compliance
• Technology Transformation: Experience with tech projects, ERP, and tax solutions (e.g., FICO, Thomson Reuters)
• Tax Operating Model: Experience designing and managing tax functions and strategies
• Data Management: Skills in automation, cloud tech, and data lakes like Azure

Experience in statutory and tax space is advantageous but not mandatory.
