Westcotts Chartered Accountants & Business Advisers in Exeter is seeking a Tax Senior to join our expanding Exeter Tax Compliance team. The role offers hybrid and flexible working and a varied portfolio of clients across the region.

The ideal candidate will have several years’ tax experience in practice, with ATT, CTA progress, or equivalent. You will deliver compliant tax services, assist advisory work, and help manage risk while supporting teammates and clients.

Qualifications

• Several years’ tax experience in a practice environment with compliance focus.
• ATT qualified, part-qualified CTA, or qualified by experience.
• Excellent communication, confident and approachable.
• Resilient, able to multi-task and work independently.
• Organised, conscientious and proactive.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance and advisory work.

Responsabilités

• Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Preparation of tax returns for individuals, trusts and partnerships.
• Help with preparation of advisory work, and a willingness to learn where there may be a lack of experience in areas.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks.
• Compliance with internal policies and procedures, ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• General admin duties to provide support to the Partners, Directors and Managers.
