Georgiana Head Recruitment Limited is representing a top 40 accountancy firm hiring a Private Client Tax Senior to join their Exeter office. The role focuses on annual tax compliance, personal and partnership tax returns, with training available for trust tax returns.

You will support the tax director and team, mentor trainees, and maintain strong client relationships. The ideal candidate has around four years of personal tax experience and is looking to progress within a growing tax team.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of annual tax compliance work including personal and partnership tax returns.
• Mentor tax trainees and review trainee work.
• Ability to stay up to date with current tax legislation and technology.
• Excellent client relationship skills and ability to handle queries efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Undertake annual tax compliance work including personal and partnership tax returns.
• Manage statutory deadlines for tax compliance and ensure timely delivery.
• Assist in preparation of year-end tax letters for the firm.
• Mentor tax trainees and review their work.
• Support Tax Director with ad-hoc tasks and reporting to meet team targets.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and respond to queries.
