Bennett and Game has the pleasure of working with a top Accountancy Practice located in Stoke-on-Trent, who are now seeking a Tax Semi Senior / Senior to join them on a full-time, permanent basis. The firm are offering a competitive starting salary along with an excellent benefits scheme. This tax based role is suitable for a Tax Semi Senior with 2-3 years' experience working in an accountancy firm who is seeking a well rounded mixed tax position.

Tax Semi Senior Job Overview

• Preparing self-assessment personal tax returns and assisting with fundamental tax compliance tasks.
• Processing and preparing P11d forms, and handling various ad-hoc queries.
• Serving as the primary point of contact with both HMRC and clients.
• Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships
• Support with the Delivery of tax advisory work to business owners, including tax planning, advising on the acquisition and disposal of businesses and properties, inheritance tax and estate planning
• Deal with HMRC enquiries and investigations
• Some exposure to VAT issues would be an advantage, but it's not a necessity

Tax Semi Senior Job Requirements

• Either be qualified to AAT Level 4, or studying ACCA or CTA
• Have basic knowledge of personal tax
• Have experience working in an Accountancy Practice in a mixed tax role
