• Supporting clients with tax governance and risk frameworks, including Tax Strategy, SO, CCO legislation, and Business Risk Review requirements.
• Managing HMRC enquiries, investigations, disclosures and discussions with clarity and commercial focus.
• Analysing HMRC powers, penalties, assessments, information notices, reviews and appeals.
• Applying dispute resolution techniques, including negotiation and ADR, while assisting business development.

What Your Days Will Look Like

• Supporting clients with tax governance, including Tax Strategy, Senior Accounting Officer, CCO legislation, Business Risk Review requirements, and the design and documentation of effective tax risk and control frameworks.
• Managing HMRC enquiries, investigations, formal disclosures, correspondence, and discussions, while helping clients navigate complex compliance issues clearly, confidently, and commercially.
• Analysing and advising on HMRC powers, including error penalties, assessments, information notices, reviews, appeals, and related procedural matters.
• Applying dispute resolution techniques, including negotiation, alternative dispute resolution, and formal appeals, while supporting market-facing business development and contributing to the team’s continued growth.
