Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Tax Manager role in Chichester, West Sussex. You will manage a varied personal tax portfolio and take ownership of client relationships while expanding advisory and leadership experience.

The successful candidate will be CTA-qualified or working towards CTA, with accountancy practice experience and a proactive, organised approach to deliver high-quality advice and supervision of junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• CTA qualified or currently studying towards the CTA qualification.
• Experience in an accountancy practice with personal tax experience.
• Able to manage client work accurately and provide clear, professional advice.
• Organised, proactive and able to take ownership of a varied client portfolio.
• Ambitious to develop advisory and people-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio of personal tax clients and build trusted relationships.
• Support delivery of Making Tax Digital, P11D and ATED-related work.
• Engage in a range of tax advisory assignments with commercially focused guidance.
• Review work by junior colleagues and support their professional development.
• Develop broader tax, client management and supervisory experience as you progress.
