Job summary

Sumer is seeking a Tax Manager for its Private Client team located in Chichester. The role focuses on private client tax advisory and compliance, serving high-net-worth clients with the support of partners and directors.

Ideal candidates will have CTA (preferred) with ATT/ACA/ACCA considered if relevant private client experience. You will manage a client portfolio and engage in meetings, reporting and technical analysis.

Qualifications

• CTA preferred; ACA/ACCA acceptable with relevant private client tax experience.
• Experience in private client tax advisory and compliance.
• Experience with high-net-worth individuals, families and trusts.

Responsibilities

• Work on private client tax advisory projects for our best clients.
• Attend client meetings and write reports with technical analysis.
• Manage your own portfolio of clients and related tax advice.
• Handle private client tax compliance including annual returns and advisory work.
• Identify and resolve technical issues or escalate as needed.
