CMA Recruitment Group is seeking a recently CTA-qualified tax professional or someone working towards CTA for a Tax Manager role in Chichester, West Sussex. You’ll manage a varied personal tax portfolio, develop advisory experience, and take greater ownership of client relationships.

This opportunity combines hands-on tax work with leadership exposure as you review junior staff, broaden advisory duties, and progress within a supportive, growth-focused practice.

Qualifications

• CTA qualified or studying towards the CTA.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio of personal tax clients and build strong relationships.

• Review work by juniors and support their technical development.
• Develop broader tax and client-management skills as you progress.

What will the Tax Manager role involve?

• Taking ownership of a portfolio of personal tax clients and building strong, trusted client relationships
• Managing and supporting the delivery of Making Tax Digital, P11D and ATED-related work
• Getting involved in a range of tax advisory assignments, providing practical and commercially focused guidance to clients
• Reviewing work completed by junior colleagues and supporting their ongoing technical and professional development
• Developing broader tax, client management and supervisory experience as your career progresses

• Recently CTA qualified or currently studying towards the CTA qualification
• Previous experience gained within an accountancy practice, ideally with a strong grounding in personal tax
