Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Tax Manager role in Chichester, West Sussex. You will manage a varied personal tax portfolio and take ownership of client relationships while expanding advisory and leadership experience.

The successful candidate will be CTA-qualified or working towards CTA, with accountancy practice experience and a proactive, organised approach to deliver high-quality advice and supervision of junior colleagues.

What will the Tax Manager role involve?

• Taking ownership of a portfolio of personal tax clients and building strong, trusted client relationships
• Managing and supporting the delivery of Making Tax Digital, P11D and ATED-related work
• Getting involved in a range of tax advisory assignments, providing practical and commercially focused guidance to clients
• Reviewing work completed by junior colleagues and supporting their ongoing technical and professional development
• Developing broader tax, client management and supervisory experience as your career progresses

Suitable Candidate for the Tax Manager vacancy:

• Recently CTA qualified or currently studying towards the CTA qualification
• Previous experience gained within an accountancy practice, ideally with a strong grounding in personal tax
• Confident managing client work accurately and providing clear, professional advice
• Organised and proactive, with the ability to take ownership of a varied client portfolio
