TC Group, a Top 20 UK accountancy firm, seeks a Tax Manager to join the Hertford/Peterborough teams. You will manage a diverse client portfolio, deliver high-quality tax compliance and advisory services, and help shape the tax function within a collaborative firm.

The role offers hybrid working, opportunities to develop the tax team, and a proactive, client-focused culture. CTA qualified, strong Excel and tax software experience preferred.

Formación

• CTA qualified with at least 4 years' experience in accountancy practice.
• Strong tax compliance background with experience managing a diverse client portfolio.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with the confidence to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to liaise with clients.
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, SUMIF and Pivot Tables.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of self-assessment tax clients, owning client relationships and timely delivery of high-quality work.
• Assist clients with tax compliance requirements, including MT Digital for Income Tax, personal tax and trust tax matters.
• Identify and advise on tax planning opportunities and technical issues.
• Prepare tax provisions, deferred tax calculations and tax accounting schedules.
• Mentor and develop team members; collaborate across service lines.
• Travel to other offices when required to support clients and the tax team.
• Monitor work in progress, manage debtors, raise fees and contribute to budgeting.
