Heidelberg Materials UK is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join the Tax & Treasury team in Chipping Sodbury. This role covers indirect and corporate tax across UK operations and corporate entities, with developmental support as required.
The successful candidate will review VAT returns, support corporate tax compliance and reporting, provide tax advice on transactions, and work with finance and operations to improve tax risk management and processes. Hybrid working available.

You will be responsible for providing indirect tax, transaction and project support across our UK operations as well as corporate tax compliance and reporting on a number of trading and corporate entities (with developmental support as required).

Description of Team / Department
The UK tax department (team of 8) is responsible for all taxes impacting the domestic commercial operations as well as many corporate companies with inbound and outbound tax issues. This role offers exposure to senior stakeholders across finance and operations, providing the opportunity to influence business decisions, support strategic projects, and help shape best practice in tax compliance and risk management.
