Job summary

BDO is offering a Tax Industrial Placement for a second-year undergraduate student. You will gain hands-on experience in Tax, work with clients and colleagues, and have the opportunity to progress toward professional qualification.

You will sit three professional exams during the placement and log six months of practical work with the relevant Professional Body, with a path back to the Graduate Programme. The year-long placement starts 20 September 2027.

Qualifications

• Be a second-year student seeking a third-year work placement.
• On track for a minimum 2:2 degree.
• GCSEs Maths and English at grade 4 or above.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Build hands-on experience in Tax with clients and colleagues.
• Sit three professional exams during placement.
• Log six months of practical work experience with the relevant Professional Body.
• Return to the Graduate Programme and complete remaining exams and training in 2.5 years, qualifying earlier because of placement experience.
• Work with experienced colleagues and build relationships with clients.
